About Us

Jasper

Emotional Support Beagle

Jasper is Dr. Kinsel’s beloved beagle and a valued member of our Emotional Support team. As Nico’s brother, Jasper helps bring comfort and smiles to both patients and staff alike. His presence adds warmth and ease to the office, making dental visits a little more relaxing and a lot more enjoyable.

Emotional Support Beagle

Nico joined the practice in January 2022 at just eight weeks old and proudly serves as one of our Emotional Support Beagles. His favorite parts of the job include meeting new friends, enjoying plenty of snacks, and offering kisses and snuggles on demand. Nico helps create a calm, welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Nicole L. is his proud mom.

Nicole L.

Office Manager

Nicole joined our office in June 1998 and has been a valued member of our team ever since. She treats every patient with respect and takes pride in understanding the needs of our doctors, staff, and patients alike. Nicole appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere of the office and the ethical, professional care demonstrated by both the doctors and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys refinishing furniture in her free time.

Ashley G.

Appointment Coordinator/RDA

Ashley joined the practice in December 2017 and serves as both an Appointment Coordinator and Registered Dental Assistant. From the start, Ashley knew she wanted to work in the dental field and quickly felt at home with Dr. Kinsel and the team.

Ashley helps keep the office running smoothly by ensuring patients are efficiently scheduled and fully understand their treatment plans and next steps. She takes pride in creating a positive and organized experience for every patient.

When she’s not at work, Ashley enjoys traveling, socializing with friends and family, attending concerts, paddleboarding, and spending time at home with her cat, Binks.

Jennifer H.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has worked alongside Dr. Kinsel since 2005 and has been a valued part-time team member since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from California State University, Chico, and an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Santa Rosa Junior College. Jennifer has also completed the ROPEF2 program through T. Production Dental College.

Jennifer is passionate about providing excellent patient care and helping patients maintain healthy smiles. She focuses on educating patients about proper oral hygiene, individualized home care, and the connection between diet and oral health.

Born and raised in Lake County, Jennifer grew up on a cattle ranch originally settled by her family in 1883. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, for over 25 years and is a proud parent of three adult children. Outside the office, she enjoys the outdoors, baking, and spending time with her family.

Jeanette C.

Registered Dental Assistant

Jeanette joined the practice in May 2022 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She completed her RDA program through Carrington College and attended Lower Lake High School.

Jeanette values the supportive, understanding environment of the practice and enjoys working as part of a team that helps one another. As a bilingual Spanish speaker with experience working with children, she plays an important role in ensuring patients feel comfortable and understood.

In her free time, Jeanette enjoys doing arts and crafts with her family and spending time outdoors exploring new places.

Maria G.

Registered Dental Assistant

Maria has been a Dental Assistant with the practice since 2018. She completed her education at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Maria enjoys being able to help both patients and coworkers and contributes to the success of the practice through her productivity and teamwork. She values creating a positive experience for every patient.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys doing arts and crafts and spending quality time with her family.

Krista H.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Krista is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined the practice around 2013–2014. She graduated from Carrington College in Sacramento.

Krista values the positive, compassionate environment of the office and the strong connections built among coworkers and patients. She is known for her genuine care, warm demeanor, and ability to build long-lasting relationships with patients while delivering high-quality dental care.

Krista’s proudest role is being a mother to her children, and she enjoys traveling with her family whenever possible.

Aneesa I.

Appointment Coordinator

Aneesa joined the practice in May 2024 as an Appointment Coordinator. She enjoys helping patients feel confident and comfortable about their care by being available to answer questions and address concerns.

Aneesa finds fulfillment in helping people enjoy their smiles and contributing to a welcoming office experience. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Jesse L.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jesse joined the practice in February 2024 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. He is a graduate of the Santa Rosa Junior College Dental Hygiene Program.

Jesse enjoys the small-practice, small-town atmosphere and contributes to the success of the office by assisting in all departments when needed. He has a strong focus on preventive care and managing complex periodontal conditions, always striving to provide gentle, compassionate treatment.

A lifelong Lake County resident, Jesse enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Northern California in his free time.

Ariel L.

Registered Dental Assistant

Ariel joined the practice in August 2020 as a Dental Assistant and Appointment Coordinator. She values the strong relationships the office builds with patients and the surrounding community.

Ariel contributes by showing up every day with a positive attitude and a big smile, helping ensure patients feel welcomed and supported. She is a mother and enjoys working on her farm with her horses and pigs, as well as reading in her spare time.

Izabella J.

Registered Dental Assistant

Izabella joined the practice in November 2021 as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys caring for patients and helping them feel confident about their smiles. Izabella contributes to the success of the practice by assisting the doctors with everything they need to provide excellent patient care.

She credits her mother as a strong influence in her decision to pursue a career in dentistry. In her free time, Izabella enjoys traveling, spending time with her dogs, and doing things that make others happy.

Melissa N.

Dental Assistant

Melissa joined the practice in January 2026 as a Hygiene Assistant. She recently graduated from the Dental Assistant Program in Ukiah through the Mendocino County Office of Education.

Melissa enjoys working with friendly, professional coworkers and is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. She is a busy mom of three children and also has three cats and a golden retriever who keep her life full and fun. Outside of work, she enjoys embroidery and growing sunflowers in her garden each year.

Gina S.

Dental Assistant

Gina joined the practice in September 2022 as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys helping people and learning new things every day, making her a great fit for a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Gina is married to her high school sweetheart and is expecting her second baby girl. In her free time, she enjoys camping, swimming, fishing, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Jessica S.

Registered Dental Assistant

Jessica has been part of the practice since June 2012 and is a Registered Dental Assistant with nearly 30 years of experience in dentistry. She has extensive experience in pediatrics and compromised care and enjoys educating patients as part of their long-term dental health journey.

Jessica stays current with continuing education to help patients make informed dental choices. She is a proud mom of three sons and enjoys watching them play sports. Outside of work, she loves camping, spending time with family, paddleboarding, hiking, and keeping up with her kids’ activities.

Shondra V

Financial Coordinator

Shondra joined the practice in August 2013 and serves as the Financial Coordinator. Her background is in business management and accounting, and she plays a key role in coordinating payment plans and treatment financing for patients. Shondra believes that great things in business are accomplished through teamwork and values the family-oriented culture of the practice. She is a proud mother of two children and is actively involved in their activities, including coaching local little league teams. In her free time, she enjoys football and baseball and appreciates the life she is building for her family.
